About Mrs. Guarcello

Jennifer is entering her 29th year in education, with a career marked by dedication and service. She began teaching first grade in Colton, OR, then spent five years in The Dalles teaching kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grades. In 2003, Jennifer returned to her hometown of Tillamook, where she has served in a variety of impactful roles: classroom teacher, Teacher on Special Assignment for Title programs and curriculum, Liberty Elementary principal for nine years, Communications/Grants/Foundation Director for six years, and currently, the district's Curriculum Director.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with an elementary endorsement from Pacific University, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland State University, and administrative licensure from Concordia University.

Jennifer and her husband Bryan, both Tillamook High School alumni, chose to raise their two daughters in the same supportive community where they attended school. Their daughters, representing the fourth generation in Jennifer’s family to graduate from THS, both went on to earn degrees from Oregon State University.

Jennifer is deeply honored to serve the students and staff of the Tillamook School District—a district she believes fosters a strong sense of community and prepares students to be thoughtful, capable contributors to a changing world. Her work is driven by a genuine love for the district and a heartfelt commitment to its future.
